This past week the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) updated its technical assistance guidance regarding the interplay between COVID-19 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act, and EEO laws (original posting from May 7, 2020 – see our earlier post here). The guidance addresses reasonable accommodations, COVID-19 related harassment issues, flexible work arrangements and family/caregiver responsibilities. The guidance and resulting Q&A addresses several questions submitted to the EEOC by employers and employment counsel.
