MELISSA ROSE MURRAY is a partner in the law firm Norris, Murray & Peloquin, LLC in Norwood, MA specializing in in all aspects of labor and education law on behalf of public and private employers, and school committees. Melissa is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, and Suffolk University where she earned a combined four-year degree in law and business. Her experience includes litigation before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and labor arbitrators. Melissa has conducted investigations into serious employee misconduct and other abuses, and regularly advises clients on conducting their own investigations. She works closely with employers and educational institutions to develop policies and identify practical problem-solving solutions.
Melissa also has considerable experience with police and fire interest arbitrations before the state’s Joint Labor Management Committee (JLMC). She works closely with and advises clients on trends, identifying comparable communities, and provides compensation analysis to help clients make data driven decisions.
Melissa is a past President of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Council of School Attorneys and was named as a 2019 and 2020 Rising Star in the field of Schools and Education Law by Super Lawyers.
